The Chalet

Chalet Tournavel is a basic and functional standalone chalet in an ideal location . There is a 30m lounge with plenty of seating and a fireplace, and panoramic windows with views up to the Grande Motte and Val Claret.

There is a terrace outside for sunny afternoons which has furniture for outside dining in the summer .

The kitchen diner is equipped with an oven, hobs, 2 dishwashers and a fridge freezer. There is enough seating for 12 people across the 2 tables.

Sleeping areas are as follows
Room 1 Is on the Ground floor and has a double bed It has an ensuite shower and WC
Room 2 is on the Ground floor and has 2 single beds ensure Shower WC
Room 3 1st floor Double with ensuite shower WC
Room 4 1 st floor twin with ensuite shower WC
Room 5 Ground floor – 1 double bed ( plus free child bed )ensuite shower WC
Room 6 Ground floor – 1 Twin (plus free child bed ) ensuite shower WC

Other things to note

The commune clear the access from the road to the chalet and occasionally in very stormy or snowy weather, the access is blocked whilst we wait our turn. In this case you may need to move your car to public parking to allow you to get in / out easily and to allow the drive to be cleared. In all cases you will need snow tyres and possibly snow chains to enter / exit. There is space for 2 cars in Winter and up to 4 in Summer.
There is a concierge apartment next to the chalet, normally you will not hear or see very much of the concierge unless you need something or you see them clearing the path to the chalet or the terrace from snow. Occasionally they may be able to provide catering or services, we will confirm this closer to the time.

During the winter, July and August we run Sunday / Sunday reservations in order to avoid the busy roads and get cheaper transfers. Out of peak season we can accept shorter durations.
Please be aware that there is an unguarded / unfenced lake immediately infront of the property, Children must be supervised at all times.

Please bring slippers or indoor shoes with you , especially in winter.

We charge a €150 fee per reservation which covers the preparation of the chalet and the beds made on arrival. It also covers the deep clean at the end of your stay. It takes us around 6 hours to change the chalet over, so we ask that you follow our check out guide to avoid additional cleaning fees ( charged at €25 per hour ).
There is a €150 fee per reservation for the linen rental which includes bed linen and towels and the beds made on arrival.

Refundable damage deposit of €1000 payable on arrival by cash, credit card or credit card pre authorisation. Returned on day of check out
